my name is rosa. i am originally from brazil. however, i have been living in america for over three years. i attended university in brazil where i got my major in history and my minor in education. in america i was studying at the college of southern nevada in las vegas to fulfill my special education license.
as a history teacher, i really like to learn about and experience cultures abroad. i have never been to asia before, so when i decided to come to anqing foreign language school i saw a big opportunity to get to know a whole new world.
here, i teach american culture for the study abroad classes and english for junior high and primary. i learned english using lots of music and movies, so i truly believe that english can be fun.
as far as china goes, i love the food here and the chinese people are unbelievably warm and friendly. so far, i’m having a great time.
